Main Plot: The Thundering Wave
Shiloh, Ice, Vega because high positions.
The west side of the island is a wide expanse of beach veined by rivers and streams that feed into the ocean surrounding the island. While land prey in the form of mice and shrews are not as abundant as those in the forest or fields, OceanClan is quite blessed with the abundance of fish swimming around in many of the water bodies in the territories. They could even deem themselves the most fortunate Clan amongst their neighbours.
But fortune is not on their side this time.
The Rekkah, OceanClan's ancestors, have foretold of mortal danger befalling the warriors of the water. Thunder and water will sweep the lands, they say, with strange visions of floundering cats and floating debris, leaving behind nothing but soggy remains of their beloved camp. The cats are on high alert under the assumption that a flood will strike them unawares, and are already building up precautionary measures around their settlement. The sensory guards and flood detectors are hard pressed in their duties to catch the signs of danger before it reaches OceanClan.
For all the preparations they have done, nothing could prepare the Clan for the gigantic wave looming in on them from the ocean that gave them life. The cats of OceanClan awake to the yowls and chatter of their guards, their blind eyes looking oddly wild with terror. The horror strikes them as hard as the wave hits the shore, rushing down the landscape with a strength never before seen by the warriors - the camp is beyond flooded, with dens and the cats themselves being swept off their paws, and dragged from the beach. Swimming is rendered near useless, for the current is too strong.
At this time, news of a large group of cats being dropped off onto the island by yet another flying monster reachs the Clans. With the camp needing to be rebuilt and the Clan repopulated after decimation, Sootstar fears the appearance of too few warriors at the next Gathering may imply weakness, and raise the probability of another Clan mounting an attack on them. He's doubtful any of the other Clans would even give aid.
Will he rebuild the Clan through its survivors, at the cost of safety against a possible attack?
Will he recruit the new strays, at the cost of earning scorn from the other Clans?
Random note:
Dogs have been known to predict tsunamis as much as an hour before its arrival because of the infrasound generated by the wave, which is unfamiliar and causes discomfort to the animal. Animals in general would behave agitatedly when exposed to infrasound.
As such, it should be of note that the Clans will have a case of chaotic behaviour even before the wave hits, because they don't yet have a clue as to the source of their feelings of agitation/discomfort/impending doom. OceanClan may be the most unhinged due to the prophecy sent by the Rekkah.
